MARCELLO POZZI
After graduating from the Politecnico di Milano, he received the European architectural license in 2000. In the United States, he worked five years for the international hospitality design firm Hirsch Bedner & Associates, where he acquired extensive experience in the interior design of restaurants, hotels and resorts. In particular, he was the Lead Designer for the Okada restaurant at the Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas and Macau.
He has worked six years with Gensler since 2005 as Lead Senior Designer for both architecture and interior and gathered further experience on large-scale projects in hospitality, retail and mixed use. Beyond the Mr. C Hotel, he designed the architecture and interior of the Sarparea de Pandi Boutique Hotel & Villas, a 160-key hotel and 75 villas in Nardo, Italy. This project was awarded the 2010 American Architecture Award by the Chicago Athenaeum.
In 2008, he founded MLLO Design as a studio for residential, furniture and industrial design. Now as Principal of MLLO Design he’ s designing interior and architecture for hospitality, retail and mixed use projects.
